Position: Ecommerce Operations Representative
The candidate will be supporting with operations of an ecommerce website in Iraq with tasks related to sales, customers support, supplier management, online inventory management, and data entry.
High-level qualifications:
- Experience with sales, operations, and customer relationships
- Previous experience in online platform, sales, ecommerce is an advantage
- Knowledge in industrial equipment, construction, building materials is a plus
- Knowledge of the Iraqi local market
- Male, Iraqi national, Basra residence
- Proficient in English and Arabic (written, spoken and comprehension)
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office with experience with some accounting programs
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support pre-sales customer interactions including the communication over Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and the phone
- Communication with new and existing suppliers and manage relationships
- Run operations from order placement to order fulfilment
- Manage inventory online, enter data, and ensure updates are accurate and information is up to date
- Negotiate prices over the phone, email, and in person
- Prepare quotations
- Visit the Basra city, Baghdad and other locations to identify wholesalers within the market to target for sales.
